St Anne’s Girls primary was started in the year 1932.

The school has progressively grown to establish itself among top girls’ primary learning centres in the Republic of Kenya

It is easy to forget but for the record St Anne’s Girls was the best overall school in KAPSEA 2022.

The school has produced exemplary results over time attracting learners from across the nation and beyond Kenyan borders.

It remains the school of choice for many in the country.

Lately, known local bloggers with a reputation of being extortionists, have been working in cohorts with disgruntled elements within the governance and management of the school, have continued to paint the school in negative light.

It is no secret that there are groupings within the school hellbent to bring down the good transformation programmes ongoing at the school.

The school assets have remained unsecured for a long time. The welfare of teachers has been neglected for a long time.  The potential of alternative sources of funding for the school has been dormant for so long.

The management in the last two years developed an ambitious strategic plan to re-engineer the state of infrastructure, equipment, instructional materials, curriculum and co-curriculum delivery system.

This plan clearly didn’t impress the status quo and some myopic members in the rank and file of the government and management.

Their perception of the new changing face of the school is in the narrow prism money being eaten as is a common generality in places where development efforts are attempted

Their continuous affront on the good intension of the management should not deter the many positive minded board members together with the leadership of the school.

The local community and key stakeholders are fully in support of the programs at St Anne’s Girls Mumias Primary school.
