As schools are set to reopen for the first term of 2023, most are positioning themselves for better things following the return of normalcy in the Academic Calendar.
The Precious Skylimit Academy in Koyonzo, Matungu sub-county of Kakamega County has rolled out an initiative to bring competent teachers on board.
According to the school director, Mr Wycliffe Nyangweso, the school impressed the education board in Matungu sub~county and they were allowed to have Junior Secondary School unit within the compound.
“Our ultimate goal remains churning out quality professionals in academic sector and I am not going to stop at anything until that is achieved,” said Mr Nyangweso.
The school posted impressive results in the last KCPE exams, where the top pupil scored 404 out of 500 marks.
“I urge the qualified professionals to consider bringing their academic testimonials before 24th of January as interviews will be held on 25th of January 2025,” he said.
He noted so far, they have received applications from over 20 teachers and they still ask for those interested to submit their credentials.
