According to Mr Musikoye, the school has a history of posting impressive results and it is because of the support they get from the parents that enables them to shine.

“Quality education is very expensive and all stakeholders must work together, bearing in mind that the future of their children is tied to the education they get in school. If you support your children on education matters, they will be great people in life; drive very big cars and build quality houses among many other achievements,” said the Director.

He noted the boarding department is still underutilised and asked parents to consider enlisting their sons and daughters to utilise their best boarding facilities.

Madam Joyce Angoye the school co-director thanked parents for entrusting them with their children and also turning up in large numbers.

She said there are so many great schools but parents chose Joysil which they can’t take for granted.

“At Joysil, we prioritise quality education, discipline of your children and belief in God,” she said.

She asked parents to ensure their children have proper school uniforms always as a smart child is a confident child.

Mr Francis Ikee, the Headteacher, had kind words for the school Directors ( Joyce and Sylvester).

“The Joysil family unit is so strong that a section of the teachers was able to get Teachers Service Commission (TSC) placements and they are doing pretty well in their various stations. They always feel proud of the mentorship they received from the school Directors,” Mr Ikee said.

Mr Francis Ikee, the school headteacher received his Award from the chief guest, Turkana County Director of Education.

Turkana County Director of Education Mr Henry was the Chief Guest and he thanked the school Directors for the great work they are doing in transforming lives.

“I know Joysil as a successful school owing to how it produces quality education that meets national standards,” he said.

He highlighted the characteristics that a good school should have, among them:
